Cows Rozka and Kvitka, calves Bizon and Budulay, as well as three dogs and eight cats. This is the farm of 60-year-old Yulia, who lives with her husband in the village of Ivanivka, Cherkasy community of Donetsk region. Their house was destroyed by Russian shells twice - in 2022 and in the spring of 2025. The summer kitchen, the woman says, was completely destroyed, and then the cow was injured by debris, which had to be cut up, and their dog Dzhulybars received a concussion and shrapnel wounds. However, Yulia says: she does not give up, because her own farm is the only way to survive. Every day at 3 am, the woman gets up to work near the cattle and take fresh milk 30 kilometers to the market in Sloviansk. There are no shops, pharmacies or centralized water supply in their village, the front is 35 kilometers away, the couple has firewood ready for the next winter and a cellar to hide from shelling. He saved them in 2022, they lived there for half a year, Yulia said.
