Valentina Dubina, a displaced person from the border village of Shyshkivka, in Koryukiv Oblast, says that Russian troops began actively burning the village on May 6. FPV drones with incendiary devices were launched at local houses. At first, people tried to put out the fires on their own, because rescuers could not get there due to the danger. On May 9, an entire street burned down due to shelling. According to her, adults grabbed children and left the village, and 80 people out of more than a hundred left in a week.
