Traveling solo with my dog on a motorcycle from the Hexi Corridor to Xinjiang. Today, I rode from Changma River near Yumen City to Dunhuang Feitian Park for camping. For the first time, I was stopped by traffic police for a vehicle check, but fortunately, they didn’t give me any trouble or issue a fine. I had beef noodles in a village along the way and met two local dogs. The people in the village were quite friendly. Later, I came across a vast field of cultivated goji berries and chatted with the workers picking them, learning a bit about their work and lives. It was also my first time tasting freshly picked goji berries so large. I encountered a molten salt tower, took the open, broad road, chopped firewood by the roadside, and finally camped, washed my hair, and rested at Dunhuang Feitian Park. Since all the attractions require tickets and I was pressed for time, I didn’t visit any of Dunhuang’s sights.
