MATCHBOX Restoration No.13b Bedford Wrecker 1958

Once again, a small and unassuming model from the early years of Matchbox. The colour sheme of mustard brown and cherry red was a popular choice of colours for several other models made at around the same time. The subtle differences between the earlier 13a model of the same vehicle are easy to miss. I thought that I could make two complete models out of three but it was only when I started to compare them to each other that I realised that it was not to be. At first sight the model 13a looks the same as the 13b but it soon became apparent that they were two completely different models. This model was fun to do and looks really 'cute' now that it is finished. Another one off the list!
