Catalina Island Helicopter Tour (Recreating macOS Wallpaper, Buffalo, Flying Low)

Catalina Island sits in the Pacific Ocean, only 22 miles off the coast Los Angeles. In my helicopter the flight to Catalina only takes 25 minutes. Despite its close proximity to LA, Catalina feels like another world. I teamed up with famed photographer, Niaz Uddin (aka Neohumanity on Instagram), to explore Catalina’s less-accessible areas. In this video, Niaz and I tour the island’s interior to spot Catalina’s famous buffalo, we fly low along the uninhabited southern coast, Niaz takes epic pictures of Avalon, and we recreate Apple’s macOS Catalina Wallpaper from my helicopter.
