California’s beaches were shut down on May 1st by Governor Gavin Newsom. On April 19th, prior to the beaches being closed, I flew my helicopter from Long Beach to Huntington Beach, to Newport Beach, to Dana Point to enjoy the beauty of southern California’s shoreline. Along the way we also saw how the state’s stay at home order did and did not affect the beaches.
