Serve it with raita or salad and enjoy a complete meal! 🌱 Vegetarian & Flavorful! 🎥 Watch till the end for all tips and perfect rice texture! #MatarPulao #MattarChawal #RiceRecipe #HomemadePulao #PeasPulao #pakistanifoodlover 🍚 Ingredients: English: Rice – 4 cups (soaked for 30 minutes) Green peas – 2 cups Onion – 1 large (sliced) Tomatoes – 2 (chopped) Green chilies – 4 pieces Salt – 2 tbsp Coriander powder – 1½ tbsp Garam masala powder – 2 tbsp Red chili powder – ½ tbsp Whole cumin seeds – 1 tbsp Black pepper – 1 tbsp Cinnamon sticks – 4 Black cardamom – 4 Bay leaves – 4 Oil – 1 cup Ginger paste – 1 tbsp Garlic paste – 1 tbsp Water – as required Roman Urdu: Chawal – 4 cup (30 minutes bheegay huay) Mattar – 2 cup Pyaz – 1 bara (lambay kaatay huay) Tamatar – 2 (bareek kaatay huay) Hari mirch – 4 Namak – 2 tbsp Dhania powder – 1½ tbsp Garam masala powder – 2 tbsp Lal mirch powder – ½ tbsp Sabut zeera – 1 tbsp Kali mirch – 1 tbsp Dar cheeni – 4 stick Bari elaichi – 4 Tez patta – 4 Oil – 1 cup Adrak paste – 1 tbsp Lehsan paste – 1 tbsp Pani – zarurat ke mutabiq 🍳 Method / Tareeqa: Heat Oil: In a large pot, heat 1 cup oil on medium flame. Roman Urdu: Ek bade pateeli mein 1 cup oil garam karein. Add Whole Spices: Add sabit zeera, darcheeni, bari elaichi, kali mirch, and tez patta. Let them splutter for a few seconds. Roman Urdu: Ismein sabut zeera, darcheeni, bari elaichi, kali mirch aur tez patta daal kar halki si bhoon lein. Add Onion: Now add sliced onions and fry until golden brown. Roman Urdu: Ab pyaz daal kar golden brown hone tak bhunein. Add Garlic & Ginger Paste: Add garlic paste and ginger paste. Fry for 1-2 minutes until raw smell is gone. Roman Urdu: Ab adrak aur lehsan ka paste daal kar 1-2 minute bhunein. Add Tomatoes & Spices: Add chopped tomatoes, salt, dhania powder, lal mirch powder, and garam masala powder. Cook until tomatoes are soft and masala is well cooked. Roman Urdu: Ab tamatar, namak, dhania powder, lal mirch aur garam masala daal kar masala ache se pakayein. Add Green Chilies & Peas: Add green chilies and green peas. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Roman Urdu: Hari mirchein aur mattar daal kar 2-3 minute pakaayein. Add Rice & Water: Add soaked rice and water (approximately 6-7 cups, enough to cook rice). Mix gently. Roman Urdu: Bheegay huay chawal aur paani (takreeban 6-7 cup) daal kar halka se mix karein. Cook on High Flame: Cook on high flame until water starts to reduce. Roman Urdu: Tez aanch par pakaayein jab tak paani kam na ho jaye. Simmer (Dum): Cover with lid and simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes or until rice is fully cooked. Roman Urdu: Dhakkan band karein aur halki aanch par 15-20 minute dum par chhor dein. Fluff & Serve: Gently fluff the rice and serve hot with salad or raita. Roman Urdu: Halka sa chawal ko chammach se hilayein aur garma garam serve karein.
