It is a radio tower that mainly focuses on sightseeing and tourism, and has the functions of radio and television transmission, culture and entertainment, and the city window, and provides broadcasting services for the 16th Asian Games held in Guangzhou in 2010. The construction of the Canton Tower was undertaken by Shanghai Construction Engineering Group and was completed in September 2009. It was officially opened to the public on October 1, 2010. Haixin Bridge: Haixin Bridge, nicknamed "Little Phoenix Eye", is a pedestrian bridge across the Pearl River in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China, which was officially opened on June 25, 2021. The bridge connects the tip of the island on the east side of Ersha Island in Yuexiu District and the west side of Canton Tower in Haizhu District, and is the world's largest and widest curved beam diagonal arch pedestrian bridge.
