The Flowerbed That Always Gives Me Trouble… Until Now 🌸

Today I focused my attention on the flowerbed directly in front of my home. The first step was removing the old drip irrigation system that was no longer working properly. After taking everything out, I installed all new drip irrigation and I’m hopeful it will water much more evenly and efficiently this season. Once the irrigation was finished, I moved on to planting annuals to bring some fresh color into the flowerbed. Since my staple shrubs and plants were already established, all this space really needed was a colorful refresh. I planted a mix of impatiens, geraniums, and dusty miller to brighten everything up. This has honestly been one of the hardest flowerbeds for me to get just right, so I’m hoping this combination and new setup will finally be the perfect solution!
