June In The New Garden: Planting Perennials, A New Patio Garden and Growing Annuals!
June has seen an explosion of colour in our YouTube garden with Roses, Peonies and Poppies bursting out of the borders. This month I’m taking advantage of the long period of hot weather to get stuck into two big projects. First I’m finishing the feature bed in the cottage garden, choosing the right perennials and planting them amongst the shrubs. Then it's over to the patio where I’ve been designing a new patio garden with planters filled with plants on either side of a new dining set. And finally it's time to plant the annual flowers I started from seed several months ago. Annuals are a great way to garden on a budget and add a finishing touch to my borders.
