Join Redhead Cylinder Head Technology as they take a look inside a 2013 Audi A6 3.0 engine. Engine code CDUC/CDUD. A beautifully maintained car, the engine rattles quite a bit. Audi considered it OK, but the customer was still worried. Was this justified or was he just overly concerned? 245 hp under the hood and really good software tuning meant it could easily compare to its 313 hp twin-turbo siblings. When the car is running, it runs very smoothly. But the rattling and clattering raised doubts as to whether it would last much longer. We also found stones in the engine. What happened and where did this lead? We didn't know either. We'll see how it all plays out. We hope the images from the last few weeks aren't too disturbing. You've almost gotten used to them 😊.
