Buy twice, buy more often: A viewer ordered new control arm bushings for his VW Touran (2004) for €25 about three years ago. But after just 2,000 km, they started making strange noises... rubber bushings! The driver of a VW Passat (2.5 TDI, 2002, 110 kW, 369,000 km) had noticed that his car smelled of exhaust fumes. VW had measured the compression, among other things, and that didn't look good. Now the owner wants a second opinion.
