WARATAH MASTERS : B CRIT : EASTERN CREEK : SHORT REVERSE COURSE : Fastest 30KM ever

Apologies for some of the audio. I made the fatal mistake of wearing a jumper with a zipper that sometimes rubs on the microphone. Race info: Another fast one at Eastern Creek today, reverse course. Strong team in the race and they rode it tactically. Push the pace, pull it back, sit on each other, then drop the power so you had to come around. I tried to disrupt it where I could, but there were about five of them, so it was always going to be hard. A few moves went, but everything came back. There was a fairly heavy clash behind me mid-race, almost like clockwork after last time. I tried to make a break in the final third, but couldn’t hold it. A couple tried to get away on the last lap too, but they were caught and it came down to a sprint. I had a bit of a bump heading into it, lost a bit of draft near the end, and rolled in around 7th.
