First up is repairing the dock damage left behind from a hurricane the boat survived. What seemed like a straightforward repair quickly turned into a bigger challenge when the gelcoat color didn't match as expected, forcing us to strip it back and do it all over again! While we already had the equipment out, I decided it was the perfect time to give the transom a fresh new look with a color change to add a little more personality to the boat. Of course, things didn't go exactly as planned. Between uncooperative weather and equipment issues, this project fought us every step of the way—but that's all part of restoring an older boat!
