There is jealousy and strife among you; is it not because you are fleshly and walk according to human ways? 4 Some say, “I am Paul,” and others say, “I am Apollos.” ​​Are you not fleshly? 5 What then is Apollos, and what is Paul? They are servants whom the Lord gave each to cause you to believe. 6 I Apollos planted and watered, but God gave the growth. 7 So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God, who gives the growth. 8 The one who plants and the one who waters are one, but each will receive his own reward according to his work. 9 We are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field and God’s building. 10 According to the grace of God given to me, I laid the foundation as a wise builder, and another builds upon it; but each one should be careful how he builds upon it. 11 No one can lay any other foundation than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 If anyone builds upon this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, grass, or straw, 13 each person’s work will be revealed, and the day will make it clear, for it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. 14 If anyone’s work built upon it survives, he will receive a reward, 15 but anyone whose work is burned up They will suffer loss, but they themselves will be saved, though as through fire.
