Day 11: Journey Continues: High Peaks, GPS Traps, Zell Am See and Highway Adventures! 🇦🇹✨

What a wild, beautiful, and absolutely unforgettable day in Austria! From scaling the highest peaks, Zell Am See and a narrow mountain pass, Day 11 had a little bit of everything. Here is how the epic day trip went down: Cappuccino in the Clouds: I wanted to go as high up into the Austrian hills as possible, and I ended up at the spectacular Gasthaus Alpenrose for a cozy cappuccino with views that took my breath away. The "Sound of Music" Goose Chase: My GPS decided to play games today, sending me on a hilarious, winding wild goose chase as I tried to hunt down the famous Sound of Music meadow! Alpine Tunnels & Zell Am See: After navigating some incredible mountain tunnels, I hit the highway and made my way to the gorgeous Zell Am See. Lakeside Dining: I treated myself to a beautiful dinner right by the water at Bar in Strandbad Maishofen—the perfect way to wind down after a long drive. The Narrow Pass & Tyre Scare: Things got a little tense on a winding, paper-thin road where barely two cars could pass. To make matters worse, my tyre pressure warning light started flashing! Biker Heroes to the Rescue: Huge shoutout to the amazing motor bikers who pulled over, helped me fix the tyre, and reset my car's computer. True legends! Wrapping Up: Made it safely back to the guesthouse, got some washing done, and smiled reflecting on the day.
