By the end of 2027, around 5,000 soldiers and 200 civilian employees will be permanently stationed in Lithuania. Those with families face the decision of whether to move to the Baltics together or risk a long-distance relationship. Several questions are central to this decision: What is childcare like in Lithuania? What is life like there with children? How will the children's schooling continue? Philipp explores all these questions in this episode – specifically at the German School in Vilnius. He speaks not only with the headmaster but also meets a mother of two who, along with her husband, has taken the plunge and relocated to Lithuania.
