Sergeant Simon and Private Nicole, along with their daughter and dog, are building a new life in Lithuania over the next few years. While Simon has been a soldier for many years, Nicole only began her career with the German Armed Forces at the beginning of this year – with a clear goal: Together, they want to become part of the Lithuania Brigade. The family will move to Vilnius for four years. There, they will contribute to the protection of NATO's eastern flank and to the development of the permanently stationed German brigade in Lithuania. At the same time, the move represents a complete new beginning: a new home, new friends, new challenges.
