This series was designed to show you the bare minimum of machine knitting techniques required to construct a basic garment - namely, a sweater. All too often lovely neat knitting is let down by untidy or badly executed sewing up. This video shows two useful techniques for making up - backstitching a neckband and mattress stitching an invisible seam.
