S.O.S TATA - La famiglia Napoleoni (stagione 5)

For mom Seila and dad Adriano, the problem is clear: neither has any authority over Simone and Davide, the little troublemakers of the Napoleoni household. Adriano, on the other hand, has his own parenting philosophy: dad should be the playmate and playmate, mom the one responsible for educating and setting rules. It's a shame Seila is also having a hard time. Simone and Davide have very different personalities, but together they combine to form an explosive mix that tests mom and dad's patience. While Davide is wild, enterprising, aggressive toward his brother, a precocious swearer, but also a "sycophant" and "pleasantly unpunished" (in mom Seila's words), Simone appears much more insecure, petulant, extremely jealous of Davide, and perpetually in front of the television. And when it's time to scold them, Seila, to be on the safe side, takes it out on both of them... Adding to the drama is Aunt Martina, Seila's (much) younger sister. Martina is 9 years old, lives upstairs with her parents (who are Simone and Davide's maternal grandparents) and is her "grandchildren's" inseparable playmate and mischief-maker. When all three are together, Seila becomes even more confused, since she doesn't know how she should relate to and treat Martina: as a sister, as an aunt, as a cousin, as a mother...?! Needless to say, this leads to constant complaints from Davide and Simone about Martina's "privileged" position, which ultimately saves her from several reprimands and punishments. Also because, her father Adriano quietly suggests, her maternal grandmother definitely tends to protect Martina more than Davide and Simone...
