Spicy Masala Chicken Curry | Recipe | #chicken #food
Ingredients👇 500g chicken, cleaned and cut into pieces 2–3 tbsp oil 2 large onions, thinly sliced 2 tomatoes, chopped 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp coriander powder ½ tsp cumin powder Salt to taste ½ tsp garam masala Fresh coriander leaves (optional) Step 1: Marinate the Chicken Place chicken in a bowl. Add: Turmeric powder Red chilli powder Salt Ginger-garlic paste Mix well and let it rest for 20–30 minutes. Step 2: Cook the Chicken Heat oil in a pan. Add the marinated chicken. Fry on medium heat for 8–10 minutes until the chicken changes color and starts releasing moisture. Stir occasionally. Remove the chicken and keep aside Step 3: Prepare the Masala Base In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed. Add sliced onions. Sauté until light golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute. Add chopped tomatoes. Cook until the tomatoes become soft and the oil starts separating. Step 4: Add Dry Spices Add: Turmeric powder Red chilli powder Coriander powder Cumin powder Salt Mix well and cook for 2–3 minutes. Step 5: Combine Chicken and Masala Add the partially cooked chicken back into the pan. Mix thoroughly so every piece is coated with the masala. Cover and cook on low-medium heat for 10–15 minutes. Step 6: Finish the Dish Add garam masala. Stir and cook for another 2–3 minutes. If you want a curry consistency, add a little hot water and simmer. Garnish with coriander leaves. Step 7: Serve Serve hot with: Rice Roti Paratha Naan
