Exploring ShoppingTown Mall: Abandoned & Left to Decay
In this episode, I'm exploring ShoppingTown Mall, once a thriving center of regional entertainment that drew visitors from all over the country. With nearly a million square feet of floor space, this massive facility in Syracuse, New York, was home to countless tenants. But after being purchased for over $2.3 billion in 2004, many retailers began to leave, and the mall slowly declined. By March of 2020, its doors were permanently shut. Now, I’m venturing into this historic, abandoned mall, attempting to sneak past security in broad daylight as we explore its forgotten corners. Let's explore!
