Les Pierres Jaumâtres and the The Celtic Gods - Did I find Them?
Is This Home to The Celtic Gods? Stories off Goddesses, Druid carvings and King Arthur's daughter make this a must visit place. You find Les Pierres Jaumâtres next to the town of Toulx-Sainte-Croix, in the Creuse, 602 meters above sea level, at the top of Mount Barlot. Made up of granite blocks that millions of years old. They offer a wonderful landscape for the visitor with a fertile imagination. Whatever its origin, the simple name of jaumish is evocative of the legends that these stones convey. In Celtic "Jo-Mathr" means to make blood flow, while in local patois "Stones with masters" designates a place where masters reside: Gallo-Roman goddess-mother goddesses or fairies. #creusefrance #ruralfrance #celticculture
