My Most Important Video? (Nashville Number System)

Maybe My Most Important Video Ever! (Nashville Numbering System and Intervals). That title is NOT click bait. This video is dedicated to Patreon Patron Ed Mulvey who was a bit confused after the video I did on 3rds last week. SO I realized shortly after interacting with Ed that I didn't actually have a dedicated video on the subject of intervals (assigning numbers to notes) or the Nashville Numbering System (Numbers to Chord Changes) so I made this one hopefully explaining everything to Ed and anyone else who it may help. As a working musician that couldn't read music, learning this technique changed my life more than ANYTHING else I have ever learned in music outside of just being able to get a single note, bend and overblow. I learned to communicate with other musicians and to be able to learn and teach music from anyone else who understands this simple system regardless of playing different instruments and independent of key signature. It is a VERY important method of communication for all musicians and I really hope you take the time to try and digest this simple idea and approach so your life and communication with other musicians can change and grow as much as mine has and continues to.
