Royal Air Force Cosford Airshow | 14th June 2026

A busy and sunny Sunday as we visit Cosford in Shropshire for the Royal Air Force Cosford Airshow. We take a Transport for Wales Class 158 Express Sprinter train from Telford Central to Cosford and we then have a look at some of the static aircraft at RAF Cosford. We then see the air display at the flight line where the Airshow begins with the RAF Falcons parachute team, and then to loud fighter jets and war aircraft from the First World War to the Second World War including the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, we also have one of the Vintage Pair Chipmunks that King Charles III flew on when he was the Prince of Wales, but an Airshow is not an Airshow without the Royal Air Force's famous aerobatic team, the Red Arrows with their BAe Systems Hawk T.1A aircraft, as they fly over Cosford from East Midlands Airport doing their best air display including the formation of Concorde. The Red Arrows on the previous day flew over Buckingham Palace in London for King Charles III's official birthday flypast with other Royal Air Force aircraft. The Red Arrows then depart Cosford back to East Midlands Airport with helicopters departing with some of the Red Arrows pilots onboard. The Airshow then ends off with the RAF Chinook.
