Day 59 |Repressing Anger is Dangerous: Cancer Studies, Thorn Metaphors & Pausing My Art Until I Heal

Day 59 of my daily video journal. In this vulnerable episode, I share how I'm recovering emotionally while tackling practical home tasks (rat proofing, insurance surveys, hardware store runs). Most importantly, I discuss the critical importance of releasing long-held anger after hearing about studies linking repressed anger to cancer diagnoses and mortality rates (Full Catastrophe Living by Jon Kabat-Zinn). I reveal why I'm intentionally pausing the final Root Chakra painting until I've purged stored resentment—and confronting the fear behind submitting my art series to galleries.
