Many people love Black Forest cake. How about a simpler version? This Black Forest-style chocolate cherry cake is much easier and quicker to make, and tastes amazing. It's especially suitable for baking beginners and anyone who feels like they have little free time but doesn't want to miss out on a homemade treat. Sheet Cake Recipe (30 cm x 38 cm baking frame) Batter with oil 4 eggs 120 g sugar 100 g milk chocolate or milk chocolate coating 200 ml oil (neutral) 180 ml mineral water 280 g flour 20 g cocoa powder 1 packet baking powder Baking time: 160°C fan oven, approx. 20-25 minutes Filling 2 jars sour cherries (680 g each) 900 ml sour cherry juice (extend the sour cherry juice if necessary) 2 packets vanilla pudding powder (74 g) 2 tbsp sugar Cream layer 800 ml cream Decoration approx. 75 g dark chocolate coating or chocolate sprinkles
