In an alternate reality similar to ours, witches are a common part of society—especially high society. Cayden is a witch, but due to her father being human, her family was cast out from the witch society. She’s perfectly fine living her life outside of all that drama until the rent increases on her father’s bakery. To help keep her father’s business going, she fake dates a celebrity witch behind her parents’ backs. Despite her best efforts to keep from falling for Khy (the celebrity witch), she finds that she wants to date him for real. Representation notes: The main two characters are Black. The cast is predominantly composed of POC, especially Black folk. There is casual queer representation among side characters. There are differences in wealth between different characters.
