Restoration of a Vintage Kerosene Lamp | Vlad's Stuff

This lamp was bought in 1956. For many years it was used, but then it was taken to the country and since then it has been forgotten about. It has been on the shelf for about 50 years. I saw it and immediately took it for restoration. I started to disassemble it. Next, I took a sample of the old paint to match the color of the new paint. Then came the cleaning of the lamp from the old paint. after that, I sanded the lamp and leveled the dents with putty. After priming in 2 layers with intermediate sanding, I started painting. While the paint was drying, I started cleaning the iron part of the lamp. After cleaning, I wiped the glass inside and out. This is followed by assembly and testing.
