Old Forgotten Hurricane Lamp Restoration

Hello . This is G-Restoration. We brought a lamp that is not commonly seen around us these days. It looks like it was made 50 years ago. An old sticker on the bottom of the lamp says Made in Hong Kong. I bought this lamp directly from the United States, but it is a friend who came from across the sea and across the water. The crown-like guides on the wick are very thin but exquisitely crafted. The four thin protective covers are rusty and have small holes in them. I filled the holes with putty before painting and it worked great. I had to work the putty twice. Is the color okay to not break the antique? I chose the color There was a small lake near the house. The performance was as good as any other LED lights. This item seems to have been very popular. Thank you for watching.
