The second part of our boat trip along the Ladoga canals was extremely eventful and challenging. Meeting with friends: We returned to Beloye Koleno, waited until evening, and then set course for the village of Korovkino. A wonderful beach and a long-awaited meeting with Igor and the ship "Kis" awaited us there. Exploring the Syas River: In the morning, we set off upstream along the Syas River. We successfully navigated 20 kilometers along the navigable part until we hit the first serious rapid. On the left bank, we were greeted by a sad sight – a burnt-out historic lighthouse. Turnaround and strength test: Due to the one-meter draft of our boat, the Bychok, we were unable to negotiate the rapids, and we turned back. But the adventures weren't over! Epic test drive: Captain Vladimir pulled out a side boat from storage, just 1.8 meters long (the same size as a man). Testing this "little one" was the most fun and epic moment of the day!
