The opening of the catamaran ferry was a gift to our village from the NordGold gold mining company and the Dobrota Severa charity foundation. In this video, we show how the ferry was assembled and its first trip out on the river. The ferry is made of HDPE by Egoplast, a local Yakut firm. Our village also received a modern ECG machine for our medical center, donated by our Olekminsky District deputy, Alexey Zasimovich Kolodeznikov.
