Private Boeing 727 M-STAR Walkaround & Cabin Tour | Kemble Cotswold Airport

The Boeing 727-200 M-STAR was one of the world's most iconic privately operated trijets. Built in 1981, it spent its entire flying career as a VIP aircraft rather than serving with a commercial airline. Originally operated by Wistair International, the aircraft later passed through several private owners before joining Starling Aviation in 2011. As a Boeing 727-2X8 Advanced, it was powered by three Pratt & Whitney JT8D engines and was later upgraded to the Super 27 configuration, enhancing its performance. Known for its striking blue and white livery, M-STAR became a favorite among aviation enthusiasts and one of the last regularly flying Boeing 727s in Europe. Its rare appearances attracted photographers and plane spotters wherever it flew, while its relatively low flight hours made it one of the best-preserved examples of the type. After more than 42 years of service, M-STAR completed its final flights in January 2024 before retiring at Cotswold Airport, marking the end of an era for one of aviation's most beloved classic airliners. M-STAR was the literal star of the show at the Kemble Cotswold Airport Open Weekend 2026. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Date: 04-07-2026 Airport: Kemble Cotswold Airport GBA/EGBP Gear: GoPro Hero 8 Black ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Please subscribe and follow us on instagram: www.instagram.com/lama_aviation/ and read our stories at www.lama-aviation.com This video is property of LaMa Aviation and may not be used in any way without permission!
