Amtrak P32 Dash 8 BWH unit 503 Tribute Happy 55th Birthday Amtrak Special

Happy Friday everyone!!!!!!!!!!! Hello everyone and welcome back to my channel and welcome to my channel if you are new here. For today's new video we will be taking a look at a lot of great memories made by Amtrak P32 Dash 8 BWH unit 503. P32 Dash 8 BWH unit 503 was built by General Electric Transportation back in 1991 as part of Amtrak's locomotive modernization plan to replace Amtrak's older EMD F40PH locomotives of the 1970'S and 1980'S. 20 P32 Dash 8 BWH locomotives were built in total for Amtrak back in 1991 before the GE Genesis locomotives were introduced two years later in 1993 to be the official replacement locomotives for the older but still very successful EMD F40PH locomotives. Today the P32 Dash 8 BWH locomotives are very rare in 2026 so when you actually get to see one in person it sure is a huge blessing. The unit numbers are 500 through 519 with units 501 and 502 becoming CDTX units 2051 and 2052 in 1994. Happy 55th birthday Amtrak!!!!!!!!!
