#39: El Aula Multisensorial, un lugar para superar límites / Mamá e hijas que son compañeras de la U

In the first report, we explore a sensitive, tender, and human topic, but one also full of social action and research that is a hallmark of the University of Costa Rica (UCR). It's about the Multisensory Room at the School of Guidance and Special Education, located in the Faculty of Education. The room has balls, slides, lights, and other devices so that children under four years old with some type of disability or developmental risk can improve certain skills they currently struggle with or don't possess. Their parents also play a very important role in the process, which we explain in this episode. In the other report, can you imagine coming to university classes with your mother, your father, or the person who raised you? That's the case for two girls from the Rodrigo Facio campus with their mother, who have been classmates in several courses. They tell us what it's like to have a mother or daughter in the same classroom, how they organize themselves to do assignments, homework, or simply take notes. They also tell us how fundamental the UCR scholarship system has been in making this experience a reality.
