A philosophy of the present, according to Han, must be a philosophy of information and the information society. Being and time are not enough. It is about being, information, and time. The knowledge that is supposed to help us make decisions is disintegrating into mere information. And therein lies today's crisis of truth. Information condenses neither into knowledge nor into truth. But knowledge and truth are forms of narration. And now the narrative vacuum in the information society is causing people serious problems, especially in crisis situations.
