Until That Day Jesus’ desire is for His followers to be with Him always. He said in John 14:3, “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receiveyou to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.” One day we will live in the presence of our Savior eternally. That’s exciting! But what’s more exciting…that one day starts the day you trust Jesus Christ as your Savior. God has always promised to be with those who follow Him. “…for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6) Jesus promised, “…and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20) Yes, one day God will call us up to be with Him where He is. But until that day, know that Jesus walks with you through life, right where you are. Reach out, take His hand, walk with Him, and through His Word and prayer, live to glorify the Lord until that day.
