Giro ad anello sul Catinaccio passando per i rifugi Roda di Vael, Fronza e Paolina

A fantastic, panoramic route in the Catinaccio Group. The hike ventures into the kingdom of King Laurin, who carefully cultivated his Rose Garden here. This is why, in the late afternoon, the usually pale rocks are tinged with wonderful shades of pink. The route we propose is challenging due to its length—over 17 km with almost 1,200 m of elevation gain—but it consistently offers magnificent views. It's a paradise for landscape photography enthusiasts. Route From the Costalunga Pass (1,745 m), take trail 548 until you reach the Roda di Vael Refuge (2,283 m). Here, continue on trail 541 and, once you reach Prael (2,330 m), take the unnumbered trail Viel delle Feide, the Sheep's Path, towards Prà Martin – Ciampedie. At a certain point, turn left onto the trail that climbs to the Soffion Pass (2,345 m). Continuing, you rejoin trail 541 and shortly after, heading towards the Vajolet Refuge, take trail 550 that climbs to the Coronelle Pass (2,630 m) and descends to the Fronza Refuge (2,339 m). Now, take trail 549 and then trail 552, which lead to the starting point via the Paolina Refuge (2,125 m).
