SC-44 83 III Cab Car 7845 (3:14): A WMATA Orange Line Metro with Kawasaki 7000 Series Car 7026 pulls out of the yard and goes back to work. (4:11): MARC 439 arrives and departs. A WMATA Metro also pulls in with 7000 series 7456 leading. IV Cab Car 8059 MP36PH-3C 16 (5:57): MARC 430 arrives and departs. SC-44 80 III Cab Car 7847 (7:26): Two USAF planes fly overhead. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera ready in time to identify them better. (7:32): MARC 428 arrives and departs, and meets MARC 641 on the way out, which does the same. MARC 428 SC-44 81 IV Cab Car 8058 MARC 641 II Cab Car 7757 MP36PH-3C 33 (11:03): A WMATA Orange Line Metro led by 7000 Series 7166 pulls out of the Metro yard and up to the station, where it passes another Kawasaki 7000 Series Metro train led by 7452. (12:08): Another Orange Line Metro led by 7000 Series 7526 arrives back in New Carrollton, while Amtrak 133 blows by, running 1x1. ACS-64s 602 and 633 (13:10): MARC 634 passes New Carrollton. SC-44 82 IV Cab Car 8046 (13:37): Acela 2121 flies by. Power Cars 2039 and 2035 (14:01): The WMATA Metro, I think with 7526 leading, pulls into the yard. 7286 is rear car. (14:48): An Orange Line Metro with Breda 3000 3066 pulls into New Carrollton, and after unloading and loading passengers, it starts a new round back to Vienna, VA. (15:59): An Orange Line Metro with 7000 Series 7500 leading arrives. (16:26): Amtrak 136 arrives and departs New Carrollton. ACS-64 658 (18:08): A WMATA Orange Line Metro arrives and departs. 7000 Series 7712 leads. (19:18): Amtrak 80 passes by. ACS-64 639 (19:38): MARC 536 and 443 both arrive and depart, and another Metro pulls in. MARC 536 MP36PH-3C 34 III Cab Car 7836 MARC 443 III Cab Car 7846 MP36PH-3C 15 (22:24): MARC 438 arrives and departs, and meets Amtrak 19. MARC 438 MP36PH-3C 20 III Cab Car 7855 Amtrak 19 ACS-64 605 (24:38): Yet another Orange Line Metro arrives with 7000 Series 7672 leading, then Acela 2122 speeds by faster than a Ferrari. Power Cars 2002 and 2000 (25:17): The Metro from the previous clip heads back to Vienna and meets an inbound Metro with Breda 3000 3201 leading. As this Metro arrives, so does my catch of the day: MARC 440 with an HHP-8 leader! I still miss the Amtrak ones (though a few were converted to HHP-Cs), but I'm glad MARC still runs their HHP-8 fleet in regular service. HHP-8 4915 III Cab Car 7849 (29:03): Amtrak 93 arrives and departs. ACS-64 637 (31:25): The OL Metro with 3201 leading heads back to Vienna. (31:36): Another WMATA Orange Line Metro arrives with Breda 3000 3065 leading. (32:10): MARC 642 arrives and departs, and meets Acela 2163, approaching its destination of the Nation's Capitol. Notice how the lead power car is missing its Amtrak nose logo. Another WMATA OL Metro with Alstom 6000 Series car 6090 leading can be seen at the station, next to a Breda 3000 Series set with car 3065. MARC 642 MP36PH-3C 22 III Cab Car 7851 Acela 2163 Power Cars 2028 and 2007 (35:28): MARC 445 departs New Carrollton. I had a video of it arriving, but then my camera died. Luckily I brought a spare battery I could substitute in time. III Cab Car 7847 (not shown) SC-44 80 (36:10): Amtrak 196 races by. ACS-64s 633 and 602 (36:23): A couple of helicopters fly overhead while a Metra with Breda 3000 3065 arrives. (36:45): The Metro proceeds into the yard after finishing its service. (37:15): MARC 544 arrives and departs New Carrolton, as it meets Amtrak 85, which would be my train home.
