Sol is a social communicator and gerontologist. She is the creator of "La Porota's Club, People Who Embrace Age," a community that, through social media and other media outlets, challenges cultural representations of old age, imbuing it with vitality, agency, and acceptance. Sol currently participates in various academic and institutional settings, practices gerontological journalism, and runs her own consulting firm dedicated to organizing activities and training, providing advice to public and private organizations on communication and aging.
