530 Quintrex Legend modifications Casting Deck Ladder

G’day folks, welcome aboard! In today’s video, I’m completing another major modification on this Quintrex 530 Legend by building a custom removable rear casting deck from aluminium. You’ll see the entire fabrication process from start to finish, including: ✅ Designing and fabricating the aluminium frame ✅ Making custom mounting brackets ✅ Welding everything together using my MIG welder ✅ Building the deck to be fully removable ✅ Applying marine carpet for a professional finish ✅ All the tools and techniques I use in my workshop This isn’t the first modification this boat has received. Over the last couple of years I’ve also fabricated a custom boarding ladder and completely redesigned the front casting deck. In a previous video, I finally get to show all three finished modifications together on the boat so you can see how they’ve stood the test of time. With an original purchase price of around $80,000, this boat deserved a few custom upgrades to improve its practicality, fishability and overall boating experience. Every modification was designed and fabricated from aluminium to suit the owner’s needs while maintaining a clean factory-style finish. If you’re into aluminium fabrication, MIG welding, custom boat builds, tinny modifications or want ideas for upgrading your own boat, you’re in the right place.
