Don't let that make you believe I did not love the platform. I owned and supported it the entire way. 3. Being a Sega fan often was a situation of duality. On one hand the Saturn and Dreamcast missed many great Model 2 and 3 games. But Sega made those Model 2 and 3 games in the first place. 4. Sonic Mania is the best Sonic by a mile. It's not even close. 5. If you have not played the 2 Otogi games on the Xbox, please do. 6. Panzer Dragoon Orta is one hell of a game. Visually, it's the best in the series. As much as I love it, however, I did not enjoy the soundtrack. 7. Outrun 2 is Sega's best arcade racer. The sheer fun factor is unrivaled. 8. I am often asked, which is better? The Saturn or Genesis 6 button Arcade Pad? It is like comparing Kate Upton and Adriana Lima. Different curves but both are in a league of their own. 9. The Xmas of 95 was a great stretch to be a Sega fan. Not only did we get the games I spoke of here, but game magazines were talking about X-Men Children of the Atom and Street Fighter Alpha right around the corner. 10. I use a special SCART cable for my DC that captures the 480P VGA output so I can use it for my videos. It still looks impressive to me all these years later.
