I filmed the arrival & departure of trains at Tsutsuishi Station on the Echigo Tokimeki Railway Nihonkai Hisui Line. Located in Itoigawa City, Niigata Prefecture, Tsutsuishi Station is an underground facility situated deep within a tunnel. It features a two-track, two-platform layout where the platforms for opposing directions are staggered (offset) relative to each other. There are no specific track numbers; instead, the platforms serve trains bound for Naoetsu (outbound) and those bound for Itoigawa and Tomari (inbound). Prior to the extension of the Hokuriku Shinkansen between Nagano and Kanazawa in March 2015, the station was part of JR West’s Hokuriku Line, with limited express such as the Hakutaka and Hokuetsu passing through without stopping. Although management was subsequently transferred away from JR West and the station now focuses on local transport, it remains part of the Sea of ​​Japan Longitudinal Line (Nihonkai Jūkan-sen), with freight trains continuing to pass through.
