【響くご当地メロディー】 秋田新幹線＆田沢湖線 角館駅 発着シーン＆メロディー

I filmed train arrivals & departures at Kakunodate Station. Kakunodate Station is located in Kakunodate-cho, Semboku City, Akita Prefecture, and is served by two companies and three lines: JR East Akita Shinkansen & Tazawako Line and the Akita Nairiku Railway. This time, I filmed train arrivals and departures on the JR line platforms. The JR line platform is a ground-level station with a total of two platforms and three tracks: one side platform with one track and one island platform with two tracks. The platforms are numbered 1 through 3. Platform 1 is for the Tazawako Line & Akita Shinkansen (Tazawako, Morioka, Sendai, and Tokyo direction), Platform 2 is for the Tazawako Line & Akita Shinkansen (Ōmagari and Tokyo direction), and Platform 3 is for the Tazawako Line only. Akita Shinkansen trains depart from and arrive at platforms 1 and 2. Tazawako Line trains depart from platforms 1 and 2 during morning and evening hours, and from platform 3 (both inbound and outbound) during the daytime. Regarding train frequency, most Akita Shinkansen trains stop at this station, with only a few passing through. Trains run approximately once per hour, increasing to two per hour during peak seasons. Conversely, local trains are extremely infrequent, with Shinkansen trains being overwhelmingly more numerous.
