Mass Coastal freight train on the Falmouth Line - 7/9/2026

On 7/9/2026 I caught a Mass Coastal freight as it built its train of Otis bound empties in Middleboro Yard. I chased it from Middleboro out to North Falmouth and back up to the Cape Cod Canal bridge. We see the train as it passes through Middleboro, Wareham, Bourne, and North Falmouth. The Falmouth Line has been the target of rail trail advocates who want the active tracks removed for a bike path but these scenes show its importance for moving construction and demolition debris off Cape.
