The film opens with shots of people driving cars, motorcycles, and trucks on Southern California’s freeways, highways, and streets. Footage of traffic is spliced with shots of a cemetery. Police officers ride motorcycles down a road. Two men ride what appear to be Honda Scrambler motorcycles on a highway. There are shots of other people riding different motorcycles. A man rides a motorcycle on a freeway next to a large truck (03:12). A group of cyclists, one with a jacket saying “Badgers MC” on it, wait at a stop light. A crash-test dummy on a motorcycle hits the side of a car during crash tests conducted by UCLA’s Institute of Transportation and Traffic Engineering (03:47). A man puts a helmet onto a dummy cyclist and the dummy and bike crash into a car. Slow-motion footage shows the dummy crashing into the car on different sizes of motorcycles. Men and women attend motorcycle safety school (06:07); the driving students put on their helmets and gloves. A student sits on a Yamaha bike (06:48). Other bikes featured in the footage from the driving school include a Suzuki. The students ride their motorcycles through several cones courses. A driver rides his what appears to be another Honda Scrambler on a freeway (07:48). Another driver rides what appears to be a Harley Davidson down a street in a commercial district (08:14). The film shows short clips of various people riding bikes through different kinds of traffic. People ride motorcycles on a dirt path (10:00). Several bikers with “Warriors” shirts ride on a highway (10:22). A cyclist navigates a road rife with potholes. A cyclist cautiously follows a car around a turn that is wet (11:50). A father and his daughter ride one motorcycle while the mother and a son ride another, leaving their Ford truck with a camper (12:25). The film features more shots of people riding motorcycles.
