Meet the Artist (No:32) | Marian Jazmik | Textile Artist

Textile Artist, Marian Jazmik, creates textured art from layers of heat treated synthetic fabrics, embellished with hand & machine embroidery. Marian photographs fungi & lichen on her walks across the Lancashire Moors, and recreates them in a neutral palette. A great deal of Marian’s experimental work starts with a collection of household items that are readily available in most homes or garages. Each object has the potential to be something.
