Like the hidden treasure and the pearl of great price, Jesus invites us to place God above every earthly possession. True happiness is found not in wealth or success but in living faithfully according to God's will. On this special day, let us also pray for all grandparents and elderly people, thanking God for their witness of faith, their sacrifices, and the love they continue to share with their families and the Church. May this Holy Eucharist strengthen our faith, renew our hope, deepen our love for Christ, and fill our hearts with His abundant grace. 📖 Gospel Reflection Today's Gospel teaches us that God's Kingdom is worth more than anything this world can offer. The treasure hidden in the field and the pearl of great price remind us that following Christ is the greatest decision we can ever make. Many people spend their lives searching for happiness in money, power, and success. Yet Jesus reveals that lasting joy comes only from knowing Him and living according to His Word. Today we are invited to examine our hearts: What is the greatest treasure in my life? Do I truly place Jesus first? As we celebrate the World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly, we thank God for those who have passed on the gift of faith through their prayers, sacrifices, and loving examples. May we honour them with gratitude, respect, and loving care. Let us ask the Lord to help us seek His Kingdom above all else and become faithful witnesses of His love every day. "Lord Jesus, help us to value Your Kingdom above everything else. Bless our grandparents and all elderly people with peace, joy, strength, and good health. Today we especially pray for all grandparents and elderly people. Grant them good health, peace, strength, joy, and abundant blessings. Reward them for their love, sacrifices, and faithful witness. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
