Outlander Ep 809 Reaction: "Pharos"

Enjoy my Outlander Knee Jerk Reaction on episode 809 "Pharos"... another beautiful and emotionally rich episode that brings Rescue , Reunion and Reconciliation - this time for our beloved Lord John Grey. This episode was written by Herself, Diana Gabaldon, and directed by a new favorite - Emer Conroy. "Pharos" means Lighthouse in Greek. True to Gabaldonian form, this title has both literal and symbolic function in the episode - a literal guiding light for the Fraser rescue posse, a meaningful clue, hope, a protection from destruction and illumination of understanding. So many feels in this episode as character relationships finally heal, evolve and in some cases - permanently break. (Bye Bye Pigweed!) I walk through the good, bad and all the feels between. It's very different from our deep dive review and analysis show called Outlander BUZZ which is a more intense, deeper dive with honeypot ratings, stand out characters, adaptation choices, Hits and Misses, History Hits, interview clips and other subsection categories along with a scene-by-scene analysis. These are fully structured and high production. They are quite time consuming to create. I will begin producing S8 Outlandish BUZZ S8 post season, so we can consider how the ep serves the season arc as a whole.
