I am so pleased that our friend, Jeff Woodman, actor and narrator of the Lord John Book Series, joined us for two very special shows this season. Our first was a "Midseason Review covering Eps 801-805 (You will find our S8 2-part Midpoint Show in previous posts of the S8 - Outlander Buzz Collection.) Now we are back for another two-part show to discuss the back half of S8 and the series finale. Here is Part 1 of our final show. We've become genuine friends, and I know you will love our relaxed, comfortable vibe. Jeff joined me for S7 to cohost our Outlander Buzz Deep Dive Reviews and immersed himself into our wee obsession! Jeff has read the Lord John Books (obviously), but he had never read or watched any of the main series. Jeff was recovering from a stomach bug (between both of us needing to postpone with alternate hits with this bug, we were really late recording this). He was a trooper, but if he seems quiet in spots, and me covering with some extra vamp, that's why. 😘🐝 He also brings great insight and knowledge from his career as an actor and many years married to a director. He often will share insights on shots, acting process and other industry buzz. He also will occasionally break out in voices (which I love).
